Boyfriend Shoes?

By now we've all heard of boyfriend jeans... a style my design team in NY pronounced "DEAD!" last time I was there for work. But what about boyfriend shoes?
At SitC we've fallen head over heels for these Oxford inspired styles.
They seem tricky to wear but we love them for toughening up a "too sweet" dress or skirt or for pairing with skinny jeans for running errands.
Sienna adds some style to her sweet white skirt and navy stripes.

We love the idea of wearing Oxfords out at night, they can make a dress thats a biiiiiit too short come back down to earth. This silver style is fun and comfy too.
Can't live without your heels? Try a lace up, oxford inspired heel too.

Make sure to wear something feminine on top to ground masculine heels (and short hair here).

This outfit would be too predictable and too sweet with pumps.
Try it! We think you'll like it!

Mad Hatter.....

One of our favorite accessories for the Spring & Summer seasons is the ever classic straw fedora! We get so excited when the weather starts to turn nice and the sun is out so when can put on our fedora with any outfit.... from jeans and a tee to a cute dress! Not only does this look great on a beach or by a pool but try and wear on a weekend with an outfit while running errands, we promise you will look chic and stylish. Just remember if you go for adding the fedora to your outfit, try and keep the rest of your look simple.

Ballerina Buns....

We just can't get enough of this girly updo that is so easy and simple yet looks so chic! Next time you want to put your hair up.... try a bun instead of the normal go to ponytail.

Belt it Up.....

Try pairing a belt with a dress.... it can easily update a look and make an old dress feel new and fresh! You can either opt for a skinny belt for a simpler look OR go for a wider, chunky belt for more of a statement. We like both looks, just depends on your mood and the look you are trying to convey. The skinny belt+dress combo is more classic, simple and chic where as wider belt+dress is a more funky, stylish look. Go into your closet and pull out an old dress and update it with a belt of your choice!

In the Army...

We have been seeing this trend from the runways to the real world and absolutely loving it! The look of this masculine jacket paired with something feminine (think pale pinks or sequins or over a dress) is our favorite way to wear it.

Pop of Color......

We are loving this pop of chartreuse color... It is so vibrant and fun! It suprisingly goes great a wide range of colors from blue to red to pink, if you are willing to be a bit adventourous BUT it also looks sharp & classic with blacks and grays!
