Here at Stylists in the City we have the WORST spring fever! Alas, we don't have the budgets to update our whole wardrobe but one of our personal favorite ways to update for spring is via a handbag! You wear it everyday, its an investment, email us for more excuses!

Just add a little bit of GINGHAM to your wardrobe and you have instantly added a pop of color and print to your look. You can choose to go bold with a gingham shirt, dress or skirt but you can also add a hint of gingham with accessories.

Denim on Denim......

Ok, we know.... you were once told that you were never to put denim with denim (think Canadian tuxedo) BUT we are here to tell you, it is the thing to do this Spring. From the runways to Gap to Jcrew, all of them are showing denim on denim looks. The key to making this work for you is to pair a dark denim on the bottom with a lighter denim on top.... make sure the denims are two different tones.

This model inspired one of us... Jenna... to cut off all her hair last spring.

Her model off duty look somehow always walks the line of feminine yet tomboysish... a stylists in the city favorite. Its fairly easy to pull off too. Make sure your "under pieces" - dress, skirt, skirt are feminine and flirty and that your "overpiece" - blazer, leather jacket, tough girl cardi are boyish. Accessorize to either piece and voila!
