We're headed to Mexico for Memorial Day for a friend's wedding. As we dig through our closets finding the perfect bathing suits, hats, sunglasses, bags and grab that last minute spray tan, pedicure, wax, etc we thought we'd take a moment to pass on what we've learned for covering up for the beach. Hopefully these will help give you a few hot weather style tips even if you're not as lucky as we are and get to fly off to a fancy Mexican paradise...
Your classic white work shirt re-invented. Wear alone or over a sarong. Style tip: roll the sleeve to 3/4 and this is the only time we condone "popping your collar")

Both Marisa's bright mini and Blake's jeweled tunic are great styles to take you from day to night.
Style Tip: during the day keep is sinple with metalic slip ons over you're bikini. For night add a little bit of jewelry and just a hint of lipgloss. If it's not too short feel free to add some heels.

Classic staples in the beach cover up world... sarongs and little white dresses.
Style Tip: try and go for elevated fabrics and beautiful, fun prints and colors (or classic black and white). Cheap material won't help you out here.
Always pack a great straw hat and sunglasses.
Style Tip: think about your destination when planning your accessories... headed to the Riviera? You may want to go for a huge floppy hat and big, oversized, retro shades. Headed to Cabo? We love a fedora and those old school ray bans you've had since the 80s.
Happy Outfitting...
